Precious Metals Dealer's Permit Information

To obtain a Precious Metals Dealer's Permit in the City of Falls Church you must have the following items:
  • Please complete the Falls Church Precious Metal Dealer's Permit Application.
  • Please complete the Falls Church Precious Metals Dealer's Bond form.

  • Contact Detective Elliott at 703-248-5068 (TTY 711) or via email and make an appointment to complete the rest of the application. The appointment with Detective Elliott entails having your fingerprints and a digital photograph taken. A background check is also done at that time.
  • Please also submit a payment of $200 annual application fee to the city Treasurer.
