Regular City Council Meetings
During Regular City Council meetings, the public is welcome to address the City Council on any topic during the public comment period. Speakers must complete and submit a Speaker Slip, located in the rear of Chambers, and present it to the Clerk at the front left table. The Mayor calls forward the speakers, who may address the Council for 1 3-minute period, which shall be enforced by the Clerk. Reports from boards, commissions, or committees may be presented as 5 minute oral summaries of the written reports.
The public is also welcome to submit comments to
cityclerk@fallschurchva.gov, which will be entered into the official record.
Work Sessions
Work Sessions are open to the public and are conducted to allow Council Members to discuss upcoming legislation and policy issues, but the public is not generally invited to speak.

Agendas and Minutes for regular City Council meetings and work sessions are usually posted on the Thursday prior to the meeting. Minutes of City Council meetings are available electronically and in hard copy, from the City Clerk. To be notified when a new agenda is posted, sign up for the
