Project Scope

The intersection of North West and Lincoln Avenue was identified as one of four City intersections needing improvements. Work at this intersection will include removal of existing signal heads and video detection from DVP poles and will install new signal equipment including decorative traffic signal poles, pedestrian signals, and a new cabinet. Signage and pavement markings will be replaced as needed, including new high-visibility crosswalks. This project will improve pedestrian accessibility by updating signal timing, providing ADA-compliant crossings, and installing pedestrian-scale lighting. 

This project is funded through grant monies from the Virginia Department of Transportation's Revenue Sharing program.
