About the Project

In 2019, the City of Falls Church acquired the property located at 604 South Oak Street, commonly known as the Fellows Property. The property is approximately 1.9 acres.

The City, with support from the Advisory Board of Recreation and Parks, will solicit community feedback to establish a Master Park Plan for the property.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, community meetings have not yet been held. An initial survey was conducted in the spring of 2020.

Once it is safe to do so, community meetings will be held and feedback will be sought from other Boards and Commissions. All input will all be taken into consideration before a master park plan is approved.

If you have questions about this process or would like to provide comments, please call the Recreation and Parks Department at 703-248-5027 (TTY 711) or email us at recreation@fallschurchva.gov.

This project is funded in the City’s Capital Improvements Program with staggered amounts in Fiscal Year 2021 (for site plan work) and Fiscal Year 2022 (for construction). Costs are unknown until a Master Park Plan is developed.
