How to Apply

Please note: applicants may submit a resume instead of an application, but an application will need to be completed upon accepting a job offer.

Review Process

Resumes and applications are reviewed by Human Resources Division staff. Applications and resumes received that meet qualifications that are relevant to the position are forwarded to the appropriate division. The division that is hiring for the position will review the forwarded applications or resumes and select applicants for interview; at the time of the interview the applicant is asked to complete an application if 1 has not already been completed; once the division has completed interviewing it makes a tentative selection and conducts a reference check on that applicant; if the reference check is satisfactory an employment offer is extended.

All employment offers are contingent upon satisfactory results of a criminal history check and drug screen; some positions have additional requirements such as a pre-employment physical examination, a satisfactory driving record, etc.

Probationary Period

All permanent appointments have a one year probationary period.
