Juvenile Programs

  1. Community Service Program

    The Community Service Work Program offers the Court an additional sanction for youth who commit minor, non-violent offenses and teaches youth to be accountable for their actions by allowing them to perform restitution that is beneficial to the community in which they offended.

  2. RISE Mentoring Program

    The RISE Mentoring Program provides positive role models for teens of the City of Falls Church's Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court, as well as the young women currently residing in the Aurora House group home.

  3. Stopwatch

    This program provides curfew enforcement through random, unannounced home visits and telephone calls by probation staff.

  4. Truancy Diversion Program

    Under the Truancy Diversion Program, a probation counselor assembles an interagency team to meet with the youth and parents, and to identify services that will address the underlying problem.
