Human Services involves helping people build better lives for themselves and their families through guidance, and assistance in accessing the services best suited to meet their needs. Housing and Human Services (HHS) include:

    A wide variety of services targeted to senior adults are available, including information and referral, links to resources, advocacy, community education, limited case management, counseling / consultation for persons with multiple needs, home visits, access to affordable assisted living, dental services, and more.

    Efficient and reliable transportation is essential for getting to work, medical appointments, shopping, and the many other activities of daily life. In addition to the public bus and rail system, there are specialized programs for the elderly and disabled.
