Affordable Dwelling Rental Units


The Affordable Dwelling Unit (ADU) Program provides affordable rental  opportunities in the City of Falls Church for moderate income individuals and families. The rent is below market rate an the apartments, condominiums, and townhouses are located throughout the City of Falls Church.

There is currently one Affordable Rental Unit (ADU) available for rent in July. The unit is a 2 bedroom/2 bath with den unit that will be available in July.  Applications will be accepted until Tuesday, June 6, 2017. There are income and asset limits to qualify for the ADU unit.

Application


A person who wants to rent or purchase an ADU must apply with Housing and Human Services to be certified as eligible for participation in the ADU Program. Applications packets are accepted year round. View more ADU Program information.
 

Section 8: Housing Choice Voucher Program


The City of Falls Church partners with Fairfax County to administer the Federal Housing Choice Voucher Rental Subsidy Program (formerly known as the Section 8 Program) for city residents. Participants receive a rental subsidy to rent privately-owned housing units of their choice.
