Adult Summer Reading Program

Reading By Design

Thank You for Another Great Adult Summer Reading Program!
Thank you to everyone who participated in our 2017 MRSPL Adult Summer Reading Program! We held our raffle on September 18 and have contacted all the winners. For those of you who submitted logs, be sure to use your book sale coupons by the October 31 deadline. And check here in the spring for updated information for 2018!

How It Works

  • Anyone 18+ years with a valid MRSPL card can participate.
  • Sign up at the Circulation, Reference, or Youth Services Desk between June 1, 2017, and September 15, 2017.
  • Read at least 5 books and keep a log (provided at registration).
  • Write a short (just a sentence or two!) review of one of the books you read.
  • Return the log (and book review) to a library service desk by Friday, September 15, 2017, to be entered in our Adult Summer Reading Program Raffle! Everyone who submits a log by the deadline will also receive a coupon for a free paperback from our used book sale!
  • (BONUS) Complete over the summer the extra Reading Challenge for a bonus raffle entry! Choose to read your five books from a variety of genres and formats (listed in the program log), complete the form, and submit it with your main reading log by September 15, 2017.
