In this free 4-week course you will learn the basics of mindfulness through a series of lectures, guided mindfulness practices, reflections and group discussions. Whether you are new to mindfulness or skilled at it, you will benefit from these classes!
Sep 8 : Intro to Mindfulness
Sep 15: Intro to Mindfulness of Breath & Body
Sep 22: Intro to Loving-Kindness
Oct 6: Intro to the Practices of Gratitude & Forgiveness
Course instructor Anna Johns is a Falls Church resident and yoga/contemplative practices instructor who is currently pursuing a 2-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach through the Greater Good Science Center (Berkeley) and the Awareness Training Institute.
