Save yourself a trip to the Tysons Corner DMV on Gallows Road and visit the DMV Select office in City Hall! The Falls Church City DMV Select Office is open to everyone, not just Falls Church City residents.


Transactions Processed by DMV Select

Vehicle titles: original (with or without liens), substitute, replacement, title maintenance (i.e., changing information on your vehicle title records, adding/removing names) 
 
Vehicle registrations: originals, renewals, transfers, re-issues and the turning in of old license plates (We can inactivate your vehicle in the DMV records, and if you have a vehicle registered in Falls Church City, we can inactivate it in your Commissioner of Revenue records) 
 
Regular, special, and personalized license plate orders (including the issuance of motorcycle, permanent trailer, truck, taxicab, and local government use plates) 
 
Dealer title and registration transactions 
 
Voter registration applications 
 
Transcripts: vehicle, driver (helpful for those who apply for a job where a driver's transcript is initially needed or periodically submitted or checked by their employer) 
 
Trip permits, overload permits, handicapped parking placards and license plates 
 
Name and address changes that don't involve issuance of a driver's license or ID card 
 
Returned checks: full or partial payments accepted


DMV 2 Go in Falls Church

DMV 2 Go, the full-service mobile DMV outpost, will be in the City on select Fridays throughout the year from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Bowl America parking lot (140 S. Maple Avenue, Falls Church). See below for a complete list of dates.
