Billing and Payments

Bills are based on water that has already been used; therefore, bills are due when rendered. Bills are considered late if they are NOT received by the DUE DATE printed on the bill and will be assessed an additional 10 percent charge. Water service may be cut off for non-payment.

Visa not accepted at this time

You may pay your bill online using your checking account or credit card--MasterCard, Discover and American Express. (Sorry, we are unable to accept VISA credit/debit at this time.) Payments are processed by InvoiceCloud. InvoiceCloud charges $0.95 (95 cents) for e-check payments and 2.95% of the amount paid for credit card payments. There is no limit to the number of transactions you can make, but you may pay only one invoice at a time.

Payments made before 8 p.m. Eastern Time will be posted to your Falls Church Water account on the following business day. Payments made after 8 p.m. Eastern Time will be posted to your Falls Church Water account in two business days.

Forms of payment accepted: Checking or savings bank account

Register to have your account automatically debited during each billing cycle. You will continue to receive a copy of your bill for your records, advising you of the date your account will be debited.

Online Banking

Inquire at your bank regarding the use of online payment services. Please be sure to include your five-digit account number that is printed on your bill when you use this payment option. Please allow five to seven business days for your scheduled payment to reach us.

In-Person Payments

Payments made be made in City Hall, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.:

After hours, you may drop your payment in the drop box located in the Police Department (East Wing, G2 Lower Level) at City Hall.

The City accepts in-person utility bill payments via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card.

NOTE: You must include your five-digit Account Number on payments.

Forms of payment accepted: Check only

Mail your payment in the envelope provided with your bill. You must include your five-digit Account Number on payments. Do not sent any correspondence with your payments. If your envelope is missing, mail to:
