City residents are needed to serve on boards and commissions, like the Architectural Advisory Board, the Citizens' Advisory Committee on Transportation, the Environmental Services Council, the Tree Commission, and more.
Join in the fun to make the city beautiful! In the spring and fall, volunteers work together to clean up the city. City staff provide trash pickers, trash bags, recycling bags, gloves, and reflective vests. Perfect for community groups, church groups, families, or individuals.
Youth and adult opportunities include: processing materials, repairing books, inventorying the collection, scanning photographs, shelving materials, sorting donations, and assisting with the ongoing library book sale.
Volunteers are needed to provide medical transportation to older adults in Falls Church. For more information and to volunteer, contact Volunteer Solutions, a division of Fairfax County, at 703-324-5406 (TTY 703-449-1186) or email.
