Residents that live South of Broad St. are asked to move vehicles off of residential streets (if possible) between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 13 and Tuesday, August 14. Street sweeping reduces the volume of pollutants entering local streams through the city's 900 storm drain openings. Parked vehicles reduce the effectiveness of the sweepers because most debris and pollutants accumulate in the gutter pan.
