City Council Liaison:
There is no City Council Liaison for the BZA.
The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) hears and decides appeals with alleged errors in order, requirement, decision, or determination in the administration of the zoning ordinance; grants zoning variances and has the power to grant special use permits for the use of land or construction of buildings in districts where they are prohibited. Applicants should complete the "Application for Variance, Appeal or Special Use Permit," pay the appropriate fee, and consult with the Zoning Administrator regarding submission of supporting documentation.
