Larry Graves Park is co-owned and operated by both the City of Falls Church and Fairfax County. The Park offers a rectangular field that is scheduled by the City and two baseball diamonds that are scheduled by the County. Landscaping, mowing, maintenance, and trash removal are handled jointly between the two jurisdictions.
The Fiscal Year 2019 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget included funding to convert the rectangular field to a synthetic turf surface. The Recreation and Parks Department coordinated with Fairfax County to obtain the needed permits and plan approvals. The new synthetic turf fields were opened in October 2019.
