City property owners can apply for grants through the RainSmart program. Funds can pay for up to two rain barrels or to install a rain garden.

The program, managed by the Falls Church Village Preservation and Improvement Society (VPIS), closes to applicants on April 1. Funds are limited. Priority will be given to projects with the greatest stormwater benefits to the community.
